February. The love month. The month of all things nice and sweet. As for me, February has been a cupcake-filled month. Yes, I’m a cuppycake monster now. Haha. Even when I’m not pregnant, I crave for all things sweet. It just so happened that my love for anything Red Velvet (I wanna try anything Red Velvet, aaaah!!) ignited my love for cupcakes. And here are my top picks: (Warning: the cuppycakes photos will make you head over to the nearest cupcake shop, lol)
- Marta’s Cakes
Kids and kids at heart can decorate their own cupcakes and butter cookies here. Being in the shop itself will make you giddy like a kid!
My personal favorite is the Cookies and Cream Cupcake. Just the right amount of sweetness.Their butter cookies tastes oh-so-good too!
- Sophie’s Mom
Cupcake heaven in a box. Their Red Velvet cupcakes are the BOMB! They also sell freshly-baked bread, cookies, and mochi.
My personal favorite? Dulce de Leche and of course, their Red Velvet cupcake!

Experience delicious and mouth watering cupcakes by Sonja! You’ll die of yumminess aaaand diabetes! Kidding!
TO DIE FOR S’mores cupcake, Chocolate Overload and Red Velvet Vixen are my default cuppycake order here at Cupcakes by Sonja. If you haven’t tried it, then you’re missing out bigtime!!
What came to me as a surprise was the Pistachio cupcake. I don’t like Pistachio that much but the cupcake itself was such a wonder. I also love Peppermint cupcake — you’ll definitely want some more!

Cupcake love! Whipped by the cupcake princess herself, Patti Grandidge, these babies will make you forget about your diet. Yes, they are THAT delish. A dozen costs Php 900, heck, you really are getting what you paid for. :)
These are my favorites: Nanatella, Seriously Chocolate, Banana Bliss, Ooey Gooey Peanut Butter, and Rock my swirl. Aaaaah!! They’re addictive, if I may say so!
Honestly, I am not a fan of Peanut Butter. But Sweet Patti Cakes’ cupcake version made me eat my words… And her cupcakes. Teehee.
Okaaay, you must have been salivating right now. Lol. So you see, these yummeh cuppycakes makes me fat as a monster. If you’ll ask me what’s the best way to end your day, I’d simply say: HAVE A CUPCAKE! ❤
