The girl you'll love to hate!

Guess who’s back! I know it seems like FOREVER since my last post, and the past few months passed me by in a blur. Let’s backtrack a bit, shall we? In a stunning turn of events, I was feeling queasy during my birthday week last August. A trip to Makati Med’s ER didn’t exactly rule out the main reason… So after a week, my family decided to take me to the hospital. AGAIN. I was admitted. as ordered by my gastroenterologist. Assessment and Lab tests followed. In less than an hour, it was confirmed —— I definitely had a bun in the oven. Not some gastro-related trouble.

Yes, I was drinking my life away when suddenly my life took a 180 degree turn. The fam bam was surprised, of course. But none of them raised a voice at me. I didn’t expect that they took the news pretty well. I’m so thankful to have a family like them. My grandma and my Dad, most especially, supported me. They were all very protective of me since day 1. I told my second family (C-bar and Triad) the news immediately —— I want it to come straight from me.

My life has been a series of incidents where I always end up falling short, hoping for something wonderful to happen, but not quite getting there. I may not have a wide array of positive character traits going for me, but I want to be the kind of person who chooses to look on the bright side, and chooses to make things right (even just for now). I have the fam bam and my friends, and they will help me GET THROUGH THIS.

There is much more to life than moping around over someone’s half-assed attempt at “SUPPORTING” me.

I am now in God-knows-where, and I’m cool about it. I left the maddening crowd in Manila, the comfort of my home in Makati, and stayed in a place to live a stress-free life, away from everyone I know. I get lonely too,  but this is what’s best for me now —— to be lost. And maybe, just maybe, be found again. I can’t wait to spend Christmas with the fam bam back in Manila though. I’ll be back on December!!

And for that one question —— I DARE NOT SAY WHO. At least not here… Till the next post!
